Subject: RE: Ag Leader 25 years event

Near Intersection of I-35 & I-90 Southern Mn.
Concerning the two weigh calibration, I overheard one of the dealers who had been there all week talk about this to this guy sitting beside him. Apparently Ag Leader now allows using only two cal loads. The dealer and I both think this is a "give in" to those who say they don't like Ag Leader because you have to calibrate several loads.

We both agreed that only using two loads goes against what we have been preaching all along, that is more cal loads at consistent but different flow rates help the system more correctly define the Calibration curve to convert weigh bar readings into wet bushels.

He said his plan is to tell his customers, Yes you can get by with only two cal loads but more would be better. I agree with that philosophy.
