I sure can agree with that. LOL.

Drinking straight whiskey is definitely an acquired taste like beer. I can discern differences now I never noticed before. Still no conniseur by any means. It's something I'm interested in partly because of the long history. There is also a lot of hype out there from the whiskey makers to sort through. Blended whiskeys are almost always much smoother to drink than just a basic whiskey (don't know the word). Depends on my mood what I drink. I know it's kind of a kids drink but the cinnamon whiskey is really good. I always have some of that on hand. A good liquor store owner/employee who is really interested in (and actually drinks) what they sell is a big help. Hard to find them though.

In spite of what my wife says. Not everyone who drinks is an alcoholic. :-) I type this as she's out by the pool having a very expensive pina collada. Yuck.
