Subject: RE: Bourbon drinkers

Jim Beam used to make a green label called Jim Beam Choice. It was charcoal filtered and smooth as silk. They discontinued it but possibly could be just rebranded in one of their other labels. If you don't like the sharp taste stay away from the Beam Devils Cut. I like it when I am in the occasional mood for a small sipping glass of bold flavor. My girlfriend at the time, wife now, suggested about 15 yrs ago I quit drinking soda for lent. I then went to straight bourbon or whiskey and water. Best thing I did because I enjoy the flavors now and not just the drink. However, I haven't found a gin I like and that is fine because it leaves something for others to enjoy.
