Near Intersection of I-35 & I-90 Southern Mn.
I don't claim to know much about this issue but was advised to uncheck TSIP Talker to help with my lack of radar out. This had nothing to do with my problem as my 6500 had gotten radar OUT turned Off during a botched update in March. Tech support gave me a code to type in that regained my radar OUT.

Anyway, in my reply from Ag Leader, the email seemed to imply that the purpose of TSIP Talker was to help with the situation of working with NEMA out to certain third party systems. I was under the impression that checking it would change a NEMA out message to the form that the third party device might tolerate. My understanding is that this has not been totally successful. My local dealer has indicated that they have needed to use Port B to the third party device rather than the branch on the SteerCommand cable.

I believe this has been working for them. The rub as you describe would be if Port B is already being used for another purpose, thus the need for yet another Port.
