| Years ago a town to the SW of us had a private elevator and a coop elevator. Coop was dumping wheat on the ground outside of town. One guy would weight at the coop, go over to the private elevator and dump, then come back to the coop empty and reweigh there also. He got away with it for a while, until he came to reweigh and found out they broke down out at the pile and there was no way he could have an empty truck. They checked with the private elevator and found out he had been doing it for a week when they matched up the loads. |
