Schlegel Farms, Hagerstown Indiana | Forty some years ago, I'd hired a "city" friend to haul in for me to the CO-OP.
He was hauling a couple hopper wagons behind a Deere "60".
On one of the first loads, he pulled into the driveway to dump and stomped the left brake (thinking it was a clutch) causing the front of the tractor to swing around into the wall and start jumping up and down with the tires spinning.
He had some good black marks on the floor before he got the hand clutch pulled and calmed the old John Deere down.
A fellow that went by the nickname "Pug" who was incharge of the dump pit, told me that they would hide in the feed mill after that until my guy had everything stopped.
