| I didn't have to do it (luckily), but my dad started from scratch.
Story: Dad is in fert./chem. business. Approached by customer who has opportunity to rent farm. Asked dad to partner on farm (too big to handle alone). Dad agreed. Same year just barely into the season the partnership ended do to tragedy. Dad takes over farm on own. Today, own that farm and I don't have to struggle to get my start.
