So I'm the exception to the rule so to speak. I here most of you say no one could litterally start with nothing. A quote "to get out of high school and say "I'm going to farm" is not very smart." No one in my family ever farmed, or owned anything. I was fasinated with farming from an early age and decided it was what I must do. At age 15 with a borrowed tractor and drill, I sowed my first crop of wheat behind my parents place. 4 acres. Now at 32 I own more than half the land I farm, own all my machinery, and am making a living doing it, so yes there are still start from scratch operations.


Congratulations! But would you say you are the exception to the rule or do you know a lot of people that have done what you have done?
