This discussion comes up between my family. When is a farm no longer a family farm and it is a business that is not a "family farm" ?

In my opinion if you have more than one employee it is no longer a family farm. There are reasons this is not right because not everyone has siblings or other family members that could join them.

What is your guys opinion

Thx

I figure if you have any full time employees other than family then you are not a family farm. Seasonal help is ok.
