The basics of weight management is very simple.......burn the calories you ingest to maintain, and burn more calories than you take in to lose weight. Sounds simple enough, right? Not so easy in reality. Hence people try to find the "magic bullet" to do what they can't......burn calories. I have always had a very low metabolism, smell food and gain weight, but to increase metabolism and hence burn calories I've found that eating quality calories, not empty ones, is best and keep my metabolism high by eating lots of little snacks or meals. I've observed deer in the wild............I've never seen a fat deer....but they are always grazing, nibbling, moving. I've used that to aid in weight control. Keep moving, do something, and eat small amounts frequently. | |
