Is the Lexion monitor a RDS system? I am pretty sure it is and my comments are based on this assumption. The fact that it is easier to calibrate is simply because it assumes a curve instead of calculating it as the AgLeader does. If any system creates a calibration without multiple flow rates the any accuracy it has at other then full capacity is more accidental then not. If you wanted to work hard enough, you could do as good a job of figuring the calibration curve on an RDS as on an AgLeader....AgLeader just forces you to do it whether you want to or not. I wish AgLeader gave you the option of shifting the existing curve rather then doing a complete recalibration.....this year we replaced a clean grain elevator in one of our combines and if I could have shifted the curve I could have cut two loads and been ready to run....it was consitantly 2000 lbs heavy on a 15000 lb load across the board from minimum flow rate to maximum, but without knowing more about the individual calibration numbers then I do, the quickest thing I could do was simply repeat the entire process and delete all the old calibration numbers. I will have to do the same for bean harvest too. I cut a couple loads at different flow rates with the other two machines and found them to be dead on using last years calibration, to they went straight to work.

I don't really disagree with the comments about the accuracy from doing it right vs doing it half ass, however in everything involving "precision ag" we need to remember at all times that the loss from losing some data is far less then the loss from not getting the basic crop jobs done. The primary job is always farming, and you have to set a threshold where you are no longer going to let "precision" prevent timeliness.
