sw ontario | True points-- really the only crop estimate or final yield that really matters too you is what you get on your farm.......a lot of things can be big market movers that have nothing to do with yield estimates or crop size.......and in early 80's poor prices, high interest, falling land prices and every farmer complaining until somebody asked the question " what does your banker say when you tell him how bad everything is and you won't have a crop this year?" .............at the risk of getting beat up I'll ask how many of the guys here that think the crops are a disaster tell there bankers how bad it is? or is it just the neighbors who have bad crops that will push prices? ..... think these good - bad crop arguments are getting old......any average year there is good and bad CROPS IN DIFFERENT AREAS ........we all just hope we don't have the poor crops every year | |
