100 pounds per 100 bushels of yield goal is a min.  Since you have not done it for years 300 pounds min.  You could put all your N on that way if you wanted.  Your statement says it all.

Years ago dad had trials up to 1000 lbs when the fertilizer was cheap, and the more applied the better the corn yields (esp on the lighter soils).
