 Kansas | What is your planter size? I ask because if 6 row a 4400 and 1440 would be hard pressed to handle a 6 row corn head and the M2 and 6600 would would handle one unless you were in 150bu + due to inside and grain bin capacity. If you are running 4 row then any of them would do. As for beans; unless you find an IH with upgrades done to the rotor area they don't seem to do very well in beans, or the older ones around here don't seem to. the same people with the IH's that weren't running in beans very well had an old original M Gleaner one year that looked kinda rough and it was running away from the IH's, but as I said, they've never done anything to them to help them process better. Personally, I'd go with an M2 (or better yet an M3 if you could find one). | |
