| I can say this. I have a 1440 and it runs a 6 row head with ease. One thing to think about is all the after market parts you can get for these combines. Not starting a color war but would stay away froma 4400-770 deere because the motor is in front and gets realy hot when the AC quits. The F2 L2 M2 combines are good low cost to repair combines. Also here in N.C, we have a salvage yard and Isee alot of the deeres there BURN;T Along with the Massey combines. I guess it's because the motor in front design
