Saronville NE | I quess depends on your states rental laws, but if no notice or written contract by Sept 1, here anyways even if yr to yr, you are farming it again. Most of my rental ground is yr to yr, and I do all my tillage in the fall and put all 11-52-0 in the fall, if no notice, you got it, IMO I wouldnt give it up just cause he wants to be greedy, if he didnt folow the rules, Id stick to my guns and farm it. Talked to a guy other day who has a lease on some ground being sold, this is the 2nd farm in 3 yrs that hes renting that has a lease, he said the 1st one he was nice and let the landlord out so would bring more money on auction, but says not going to on this one, says I got my lease, Im farming it.
