nw MN | I'd hold onto the land even if you can only break even for a couple years. You could have a 75$/ acre loss for 2 years and still be even with where you would be just walking away. To get paid you would need to make a nice guy deal I think. I would doubt if it went to court you would get ANY fertilizer cost back. Whenever I have a landlord ask me for a big increase, I will generally pay it if it is within reason, but I always tell them, " Remember that things can go the other way just as fast and I would like the same consideration on your end if it does". | |
