Nebraska | I don't think this is similar to what Precision Planting, ahem Monsanto, is doing. Precision Planting has an iPad app, but it only piggy backs on their own Seed Sense 20/20 consoles. Precision Planting's app just makes their visuals prettier.
From what I've learned AgLeader and John Deere's ISO terminal software just runs on an old version of Windows. They've just locked it down somehow. It sounds like Crop Ventures Machine Command app is just iOS and Android software instead, but requires their CAN Plug to communicate with a tractor and implement. I guess we'll have to wait and see. | |
