One of the aims of the company appears to be disruptive to the existing precision ag companies. IE to bring about a significant change either due to technology, cost, or some other factor. They might be able to do that, if they can gain enough market acceptance. However I fail to see the attraction of using a consumer tablet in an industrial setting. The extremely glossy touchscreens are not easy to view in a lot of settings, especially if the sun happens to be shining in through the cab window. Lack of an industry standard connector such as USB on the I products is another negative. I have looked at a generic rugged tablet designed to be outside or in a cab and they are not cheap. They are also not designed to be your entertainment device.
