USA | But if you don't own the majority of the ground you farm with little or no bebt and cannot stay afloat with 2-3 years of $4 corn. You'r pretty much screwed going forward.
The guys renting most of the dirt they farm and have to borrow operating money along with having machinery debt will have a hard time surving the next 5-10 years.
The deep pocket folks will pretty much squeeze the weak out over the next 5 - 10 years.
Have seen 4 farmers in this area loose all or most of the ground they farmed in the last 60 days.
