Strathcona, mn | Why does everyone think inputs will drop with lower prices? Yeah maybe they will go down 5% or so but is that going to save your farm? I have news for you it won't take 4$ corn and 8$ beans for too many years in a row to kick people's butts. Look at the price of equipment now, do you think CNN or jd is going to cut their prices by half? How about fuel... Do you think they care how the is farmer is doing? I can't see 2$ fuel anytime soon. How about sees, Do you think they are going to cut triple stacked seed by half? Any one of these by themselves isn't going to cut my expenses by much. I hope we don't see a major decline in Ag or there are more people thy will be affected than will admit. It won't be fun to lose money and burn up equity when it happens. | |
