Subject: Being a renter will not be anymore probalmatic

Red River Valley
Than being a owner with debt against the land and maybe in better shape

Not being able to give up rented land when it makes no "cents" will be a problem

Having equipment debt will cause most of the problems because one will not be able to get out from under it and most will think they need to attempt to hold togather their land base to pay off equipment.

and as we hear from many on this site the market has to give me enough money to make a profit otherwise I will not put in a crop. LOL

As we found out in the 80's the last thing a farmer ever gives up is land so be prepared to farm at a loss and burn equity.

My guess is that when the reality strikes on how fast demand goes away it will be to late for most.

guy's buying something to save on taxes in a big year may well be sorry.

might be a very good year to fund your retirement accounts
