NW Iowa | Home base for me is in NW IA and farm ground 80 miles north in SW MN. Drive equipment every year. Its not bad at all. Just have to wrap your head around being away from home and makeing the trip up there. have 400 acres up there so its worthwhile to make the trip. At the time i bought it it was far more affordable than buying ground around here. Give us some diversification on our crops especially this year. Things may not look as good at one place but really good at the other. Funny how 80 miles can make so much difference in weather and conditions. Its been a really good move for me to be farming away from home. | |
