This is my first year long distance farming. 80 mi from home base. If you can get a decent deal and make some money doing it, I wouldn't be afraid. Be sure to scout out dealers, tire shops, etc and be prepared for anything. Its not like you can just run home in 5 min if you forget something. Try to make a friend with the locals. They may save your tail in a pinch.
