I think the current weather situation has a lot of people in typical non-irrigation areas like ours asking this question.
I was looking over the last several years production records. I can say that lack of water has hurt us way more than too much water. Our yields are much like yours, but with crop prices where there at, it does not take much of a yield bump to pay for these improvements.
I would love to sale some beans right now, but I am not sure I will make any. Sure would be easier to market if I had irrigation.
