S.E. Iowa | Nice fence we use earth anchors as well however I make them from 3/4 rerod, heat bend a loop and an ell bend on the other. I use railroad trach plates and blow a hole thru them, put the ell bend thru the hole and weld the short ell to the bottom of the track plate. I like the way you put a tie wire to keep the corner from wanting to pull up. I usually do not have trouble with that because we run the braces horizontal but what you do really is a great insurance policy. Thank you for posting the pics and adding a new way to build fence to our farm. We are planning on putting in 2 miles this summer for rotational grazing. | |
