Is there a "right" way to have the brace pipe, or divider? Dad is still a pipe user that goes in the middle of both wooden posts. I'm the kind of guy that thinks it should be 3/4 up the post, with it straight across. J.M.O.
There has got to be a reason they make truss bridges with all their angles. Heck, you can even make them out of toothpicks with enough triangles incorporated.
