I've heard the samething, even had our soil consultant tell me that a few years ago. I can't prove it or disprove it but I do know we have been using AA for over 50 years. I have some fields that will require 2-3 ton of lime every 4 years and other fields that haven't had lime spread on them since the late '40s. Soils are tested on a 2 1/2 ac grid every 4 yrs & have been since 1981. What's the difference? Soil type? Some of the fields have the same soil type though nome of our fields are 100% same soil type. AA rates are generally the same, or at least within 10-15# of N

Also have an abundance of earthworms
