I know we are very early days, but what about 5-10 years from now? Would an electric drive train semi find a second life on the used market as a grain hauler?

Range is short, but aren't must hauls from field to bin or field to co-op also short?

Tesla Semi is probably the most known version at the moment, but it appears plenty of other companies have a few models. Some examples below:

Tesla Semi (either 325 or 500 mile range): https://www.tesla.com/semi

Freightliner eCascadia (150, 220, or 230 mile range): https://www.freightliner.com/trucks/ecascadia/

Peterbilt 579EV (100-200 mile range): https://www.peterbilt.com/trucks/electric/579EV

It’s all fun and games until you need to buy a new battery pack with a six figure price tag.
