A vehicle that gets used for a month or so per year, but sometimes heavy use in that time, does not seem like a logical application for EVs at this point.
"Failed spectacularly" doesn't even do it justice. Lots of taxpayer $'s have been flushed down the toilet trying to pound the EV plug into a whole where it doesn't fit.
A EV semi that is pulling 80k+ (or ++++++++++) down a soft gravel road will probably have a range that is somewhere between 10-20% of the advertised range.
