If we haul from 3000 feet to 1500 feet and then back up to 2200 feet and drop down to the river at 600 feet with a load and return empty should we have regenerated more power than we used?


That is very similar to the use case Edison Motors built their hybrid logging trucks for.

Downhill loaded, uphill unloaded, a generator to keep it topped up whenever needed. Looks like a solid plan.

I don’t think we’ll use trucks enough days/miles per year to afford one, but one of their pickup kits would be a real possibility.
