I've done both, 2 years ago spotted one field in and replanted 3 others without ripping it out, ended up with a pretty high population and man did it yield. Don't laugh as I'm just south of i70, I replanted this the 14th of June. One field did 212 ( highest ever ) , another did 200 and the other 2 did around 190. It was shocking, That's a tuff call.
