I am pulling the bulls at 45 days this year. Doesn’t matter if you’re selling some opens or late calvers you’re going to take a discount, is calving stragglers worth it to have a group of uneven calves? I started fresh this year with 1 day AI heifers, the only semen they had was 1 straw AI. We time bred AI them a couple weeks ago and the bulls come out at 45 days. I’m done with substandard fertility.
