| So we live in dryland wheat country. Iv never heard of wheat silage before this morning, till I herd someone say there putting it up and giving up on corn silage altogether. We can’t hardly get it to rain so we can’t rely on corn much now days. But the wheat does alright. How does it feed? I was told that it runs about 16-20 percent protein but lower in energy that corn silage? Also wondering how something like this is priced per ton??. Would be fed to feedlot lambs and calves and lactating cows and ewes
