Southeast Colorado | There are not a lot of different races in our very rural area. However..........it has gotten to where there are about as many people with Mexican heritage as there are white people. There are lazy people of both races but when it comes to physical work.............the Mexican folks work their tails off. Much harder than the white people by and large. I don't know of a single Mexican American farmer around here. I'm probably lucky they evidently don't want to farm because I'm pretty sure they'd own everything around soon if they wanted to. | |
