| My wife and boys also gave me a Marlin 45-70 Gov. for my birthday when I turned 50. Throwed a surprise party for me in my shop. It was a Sunday, and I was going to just relax that day. Wife was concerned she wasn't going to get me out of house and ranch to get ready for party. So she called neighbor to come grab me, told me we had water problems, and cattle out.
So he picked me up, and a horse. We went and checked water I found a bull of another neighbor that he couldn't corral well we corralled him. I was grinning that we caught his bull as he had been after him for two weeks. So neighbor brought me back home, pulled up to shop, saw my parents truck and a bunch others. I still hadn't put two and two together. I had totally forgotten about my birthday. All I could think was why were my parents here? They got me good. | |
