I have a short Marlin in 45-70, great gun, fun cartridge, one of my favorite guns, but 1000 yards? let alone 3350? Seems a bit exuberant for a gun with over 10 feet of drop at 500 yards. I've been thinking about a nice tang sight for mine to lob some long shots every once in a while.....
It finally showed up, yea!!!
