. The state passed some legislature a couple years ago allowing the use of straight wall center fire ammunition, in addition to using shotgun slugs.
So we can use the .444 marlin, .357 Winchester, 45-70 gov., and I believe the .450 bushmaster to hunt deer during the two shotgun seasons we have in Iowa.
