oregon | I was trying to remember from classes many years ago and I was going to mention that another geologist named Pardee was involved in the work but then I clicked on your bottom link and see that he is properly mentioned there.
Some of the rocks and boulders found in the fields in the Willamette Valley an hour or so south of Portland were carried in from Montana on the floods. Those rocks are unique to that area. That is at least as far as the floodwaters backed up south of Portland. | |
