Paradise KS
Our basement has an open stairwell to the upstairs living room, so im sure im losing heat that way. Its dissapointing because the basement isnt as warm as i would like it, but the thermostat for the furnace is right at the top of the stairs and the furnace hardly runs. We keep our house around 64, which is pretty cool for most people i have come across. But our previous house the first winter we were in there propane shot to 4 bucks and our propane bill was over 2000 dollars for the middle fill. I think we filled a 500 gallon tank 2 1/2 times. We were broke young kids and that was rather hard for us. That was four years ago and it took a long time to get the bill payed. so were kinda gun shy about upping the temp.
