WCMO-SWMO Area | Its a up and down factory that depends lots on the economy...Some years they may offer 800 hours of OT and the next year they won't get 100 hours...Around 2008 things were so slow that they had to take 2 weeks off with no pay......I should have said they now only work a few 7 day weeks because they seldom ever work a Sunday as its double time..Some take all the OT while others take nothing unless they are made to...I do have one friend that takes 100% of the OT and one year made 80K take home..They worked Sundays then and double time adds up quickly....The average worker probably makes 60K before taxes and even they cant keep help..One friend said that the benefits have been slashed and are about 10K per year..A very-very few might cost their employer close to 100K per year..
