Southeast Washington | We grow a crop not wheat that needs Roundup to kill it so we can harvest it as it keeps growing otherwise and color is a big factor. It has had a 14 day wait till harvest and this year the fieldman wanted us to wait three weeks to lower the Roundup levels as every sale is checked for Roundup levels. If we can't use Roundup then it will be Gramoxone as the buyers have no problem with that so goes to show you it is all being played up in the media. I would rather have traces of Roundup over a crop sprayed with Gramoxone. | |
