The Far East...of Nebraska. | Quick answer for you, I believe slate had an article out almost immediately behind the ewg one. They discussed the thresholds that are considered safe by the gov, and how ewg just reduced those significantly to make their own “safe level”. They said how many servings of cereal you would need to eat per day to break certain levels and it was asinine. And slate leans left so it wasn’t like it was Fox News going out to debunk the ewg.
