Paradise KS | "intensive" management is just a phrase
I dont agree with this whole heartdly ."intensive" management is just a phrase, it doesn't mean you have to spend a ton of money. Yes you can spend your self into oblivion like all things. But a simple setup with electric fence can improve the soil, which improves the productivity of the grass, which can allow more cows that produce calves of equivalent value.
Its the same for size of cow, you can have a cow thats to big and you lose efficiency, you have cows that are to small you can lose productivity, getting that cow right in the middle of both gives you the best of both worlds.
