Hennepin, IL
I know it's been discussed but I dont think these tariff threats are even half to blame for the drop since the beginning of the month. Maybe a bit, but they're just a scapegoat for the most part. Seasonals, widespread rains, funds net long, and a looming acreage report have just as much if not more to do with it IMO. Also we forget, we've basically been on a consistent run up since the end of Feb; barely a drop even during planting. When was the last time that happened? Usually a "rally" that early is met with a selloff somewhere around planting or before. That never came. IMO we were overdue. Again, just my take and I'm hardly educated in the matter.

Was going off memory before. Beans have basically been in a run up since the beginning of Feb, a couple small selloffs, but nothing major.
