| Before the tarriffs the world wanted to consume x bushels of soybeans. The world does not want to consume any less than that today. Tarriffs could make us a less desirable seller for the Chinese to purchase from which will make Brazil a more desirable seller to purchase from.
So the value of Brazil beans go up and the value of US beans go down. Now other buyers quit buying from Brazil and start buying from the US.
The net may slightly reduce prices here but not 25%. My level of worry on this one is zero.
