Wife and I both got ours last year. Easy as pie. I don't know what the big deal is and why people make such a big deal out of getting one. It's easy.
It would have been easy for me too if I had a W-2 or a 1099 from the Social Security Adm., or if the counter lady had known that a non SS 1099 works also.
