They have been preaching hazelnuts in Minnesota the last 10 years. I told them pay for the trees, give me $400 an acre rent for 10 years and then we will talk if it is so great you think I would have had a taker. Guess what , no takers. Everyone wants you to do something for them, but for f*** sake, nobody will put their own money into this great new thing.
Hybrid popular trees were the best thing since sliced bread 20 years ago, I don't know a single person who came out on that. But they were able to collect crp payments anyway.
Most popple trees were dozed down and had irrigation installed on them in the last 5 years.

Anyone have any other great ideas lol

Btw, I am not picking on you about the hazelnuts, I am just venting due to the stupidity of others who want us to invest millions because they have an idea.

Ps, I looked into hops also guess what there are 65 million varieties and the buyers want you to have them all :)
