East Central Kansas
In 1977, wheat was 75%+ of our acres, balance milo and soybeans. Today, our std rotation is 3yrs corn followed by 1 yr bean, followed by 3yrs corn(except on a few farms, wheat follows soybeans, fb dc soy, fb corn).
Not increasing wheat acres this yr.
I think we qualify as a fringe area!
