Buying back on the board is much more speculative than sitting on grain in the bin. If you buy it back on the board, you're speculating not only that price will increase but that it will increase faster than the carry in the market.

Conan appears to be decent enough in his marketing to out guess that. Color me impressed. I know I'm a terrible marketer. The minute I tried to delay the buy portion of my roll, the market would shoot up $0.50 in a few days and I would be $0.65 behind instead of $0.15 behind.
